Dr. Kim graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Science with High Distinction in two years. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Medical College of Virginia and his Gastroenterology fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He spent an additional year researching pancreatic cancer and then served as an Assistant Professor and Attending in the Gastroenterology department at the State University of New York at Buffalo for five years.
